Compensation

       In Turkey, compensation is obligatory to prevent load on transmission lines.  According to the Republic Of Turkey Energy Market Regulatory Authority, these systems’ installation and checking periodically have to be done.  (Judgment no: 284/2 date: 08/01/2004)

       According to this judgment, institutions, that producing compensation boards and implementation (institutions which have 9 kVA and above project power), have to be provided that their inductive energy have to be 20 % or below of the active energy and capacitive energy have to be 15 % or below of the active energy. Otherwise institutions have to pay punishment for this situation.

       These percent can change according to countries.
